| Brand spanking new website launched. Our first website was launched over 7 years ago (back in Feb 2001) when buying online was very much in its infancy. The website was one of the very first to be launched in the area and since then has had various 'licks of paint', new home pages, new features and new products added. We thought it was about time for a complete facelift, and this this lastest version of the site has had us working through the night, to meet our pre-Valentine's Day deadline, completely re-decorating from the ground up and giving the site a whole fresh new look and feel. New Look The new look as been designed to be compatible with all types of computers and browsers. Our old site was fine with Internet Explorer, which the majority of our web site visitors seem to use, but with more people using different types of browser like Firefox and Opera, and using different types of media to access the internet with (such as mobile phones etc) we had to make things a little more compatible. Re-coded from the ground up, and tested in a multitude of environments and browsers, the new site is ready to take on the world wide web once again! New Product Catalogues We have made the products catalogues much clearer and a lot easier to use. Flowers Many of our floral gifts are now available in a much wider choice of price points, and colour ranges than was ever possible before, each product much more clearly defined. This extensive range of floral gifts has been increased and improved, and a few exciting new additions have also been made, why not have a look for yourself. Champagnes, Wines & Spirits Having launched our first alcohol range some three years ago, this has proved to be a very popular category! We have extended and improved our Champagne offering to include some fine Vintage and Prestige houses (including Dom Perignon, Pol Roger, Krug and many others) as well as improving the quality and variety of our 'house' champagnes and wines too. With our legendary 'Same Day' and 'Three Hour' delivery service, the once almost impossible task of Champagne Gift Delivery in Nottingham is fast becoming an everyday event here at Anderson's. Order Management System Our order management system has been working in the background of our site since 2005, keeping a secure record of your online orders in one safe place. This invaluable resource now allows you to access these details 24/7, and all your historic orders that you have placed online since July 2005. This system will also grant you access to our long awaited Loyalty Scheme, flowersplus+, which will be launched officially in Spring 2008. |
